The Portland Chess Club is a member supported, volunteer led organization. Our operating expenses (mostly rent) are paid from membership dues, tournament fees, and endowments. Our programs: Tuesday and Saturday Quads, Wednesday Casual Play, Thursday Blitz, Saturday G/60, Seasonal Open, and more, are run by vounteers from the club.

Yearly Membership Rates

Adult - $85.00
Youth - $60.00 / child
Family - $120.00 Adults and all children (K-12)
Corporate - $1200.00 Use the company ID as membership

Lifetime Membership Rates

Individual - $1200
Family - $1500
Sustaining - $150 a year. After 10 consecutive payments, sustaining converts to individual lifetime.

Endowments

Promote your company with a perpetual named membership for a one time fee of $1500.

Your first visit is free so come and check out the club!
Still can't decide? We charge a $5.00 visitor's fee for those individuals who need more time to decide if a chess club is worth supporting.
